Doing stupid things …. a nice way of
getting out of the borders that define to us our … boring reality
I hear many people … complaining they have … boring lives … and when i ask some of them what is going on … trying to teach them my technique of …. analyzing… defining …. as into the end
to be able to totally redefine the reality itself …. i see a weird fear
… that i could not understand for years.
But later on …. I’ve realized it’s the fear of making mistakes …
and all sorts of stupid things … not seeing that everything is just part of this scenario … called life … and has the meaning to reveal us … its secrets.

INTRODUCTION
I was writing a lot about analyzing and defining life.
And i even wrote a book with this title.
But my real purpose from that time was to make the people understand that after understanding all what is going on ….they could realize how their lives could be redefined … into the way they want it to look like.
I’ve also wrote about the non sense …. and all the pathless
paths i was following …. but still .. i felt that i was not
defining properly all what was happening on the stage of my life.
But meditating more … one day … i had the courage to say it
…
Yes … i was doing lots, lots of stupid things.
And it was worst than that … cause i was in fact aware of all that.
The paradox was that even if i realized all what was going on … i enjoyed doing all those things.
People around me … started to whisper that it’s not ok all what i am doing …. but …
I refused to listen … to anyone.

I was acting like a child that was actually enjoying to do … stupid things.
It was like i was following … an amazing journey.
Today … i just stoped judging myself.
Also … do all my best to stop judging the others.
I don’t say anything when i see someone that is smoking 2 packs of cigarettes a day.
or someone that is drinking one bottle of vodka every night.
And i pretend i don’t see what is going on …. when some of my friends are smoking marihuana all the time.
The list of examples … is infinite… But … yes … I used to judge them. All of them.
I was analyzing and defining them … in such an ugly way. I could not find the strength … to accept their behavior … their decisions of doing … stupid things.
And in the same time … i was enjoying my own pathless paths.
The ones … of doing those damn stupid things.
Today … i try to practice … the acceptance of all what is going on … on the stage of life.
Whatever happens … good or bad … i see it as part of the experience of being into this Universe.
It s like … all … is actually part of the process.
So … accepting and embracing real life … the way it is … and even defining it as an amazing journey … became for me the key …
That key … that would allow me … to enjoy life. And also to all the others … from here.

Weird experiences carry amazing messages.
But we are blinds … or pretend
we can’t see that.
I did lots of stupid things over my life time.
And i still keep doing them.
Even if i know i should not do those things, i still do that … on and on and on.
Somehow i started to accept that as part of my life experience.
And recently … i just had a new weird episode that probably carries a very strong message for myself … but maybe as usual … i’m still blind to see … the spiritual side of the story. It was already late … and i went to prepare a house for one of my guests.
It was so, so cold that i decided to start the fireplace.
And damn it … no matter how much i tried … i could not start the fire.
So … totally annoyed … having in there a little bottle of thinner … i opened the fireplace and tried to start the fire using that bottle.

In a second i see my hand with fire on it … my coat started to burn also … my right shoe had fire on it … and…
I threw on the floor the bottle of thinner … but accidentally it went near the sofa and the table … and they started to burn also.
2-3 seconds only … and i was … because of my stupid mistake … into … the hell.
I knew i had to not use the bottle of thinner … and that was a very stupid thing ….
But … I succeeded to keep my calm.
I suddenly remembered about my book … “It’s all an illusion
a karmic one.” … and i said to myself … “Calm down! All it’s going to be fine. It’s just an illusion … and illusions are not real.”
The inner peace from my soul … the calmness … made me have the strength to stop the fire in 2-3 minutes only.
What it was funny was that the thinner that was on the floor … created the impression that the tiles were burning. Probably the most difficult part was to take out my coat which had fire on it … but …
The experience itself … was weird … but also … amazing.
I was glad …. I was not scared …. even if it all looked like a real … hell.
So … finally i stopped the fire.
I cleaned up everything …. and … it all looked like nothing happened.
Someone came to me … felt the smell of smoke … but could not believe what i’ve described.
My burned coat … and my right hand … were the only proof … about all it happened.

It was the 3rd fire i had at my houses.
But like always … it was kind of a karmic demo.
Probably a message … which i could not really understand … or maybe i was just pretending i could not see it. The experience itself … made me feel alive.
I don’t regret it happened and i don’t complain about it. So … what was the message?!
Just that i keep doing … stupid things?!
Hmmm….
Maybe not … maybe yes …

You can have absolutely everything you ever desired … but if you are not happy … it’s all useless
We go throw life … with lots of thoughts, dreams and millions of desires.
And the funny thing is that after a while … we realize that many of those things became true. And still … we are not satisfied.
Something … like an invisible barrier … blocks our path to happiness.
Even the concept itself of such a thing … called happiness … is so abstract that … we don’t really believe we can ever achieve it.
In my book “PHILOSOPHY OF NOTHING - had everything, but i actually had nothing … had nothing, but i actually had everything” … which is actually a book with love essays … i remember that i tried to explain the concept of love affairs and their meaning.
My friend Brian … which is actually kind of a reflection of myself … always inspired me in my writings.
I say reflection of myself …. cause he is always doing stupid
things … same as i do …. which makes our lives look like … a

Today … i see Brian … as the profile that is defining the best the concept of … philosophy of nothing. He’s having all he ever wanted.
A lovely house, a beautiful wife, amazing kids, a successful business … and it’s so weird to see him suffering of a profound … sadness.
Brian looks …. having the perfect life …. but …
You see … my friend is not so idiot as he looks like.
I see him often in the company of some beautiful ladies … and i use to ask him … “Why you do this Brian?! It’s a nonsense?! Your wife could find out …. and you will lose all you have now?!
You’ve worked a lot … for all this …” “All this what, Gabriel?!
I have nothing … just nothing.
There is not even one thing that could make me happy.
Not even …. one.
So i’ll lose what?!”
Maybe Brian was right.
From outside it all looked like Brian was doing only stupid things … going out with all those ladies … but the real truth was that he gave himself the freedom to live also into a parallel world … where maybe he has a better chance to be happy.
Was it ok what he was doing?!
Was it moral?!
Should we judge him for all these stupid things that he was doing?!

We should just laugh … in front of stupidity.
and nothing more. And remember that anyway
it’s all an … illusion.
The experiences i recently had in my life … somehow prove that i live a karmic story for the moment.
It’s like i live in a prison of life tests … and i have absolutely no idea when i’ll be released from here.
Or maybe i should redefine those thoughts … and declare that life itself is kind of a school that is teaching us lots of things … and ….
We should accept all what is going on … pay attention to the details … and see the message behind the message.
The real purpose we are here becomes ….
Well … i don’t even know how i should define it better … to not be misunderstood … but first of all it’s all about …. the illusion of the self.
And we should get rid of it …
How?!
Well … simple smiling in front of all the stupid things from our lives … of all the nonsenses.

It’s a new day … a new chance to act better on the stage of life
Somehow we live with the illusion that we are here to accomplish our dreams … goals … or those infinite lists with desires.
And because of that … we lose a lot of energy, believing that our focus should be in the direction of getting all what our minds ask for.
But … the Universe … laughing behind our back … is making us the favor of letting us get all we want.
Of course …. with a price.
Sometimes a very big price.
And we believe it’s normal making compromises… on and on
and on.
Fighting …
Arguing with the people around us.
We listen to motivational movies … telling us about sacrifices that need to be done for accomplish our dreams … and we believe them.
But you see … nobody bothered to tell us the difference between a dream … and a desire.

Having so, so many of them … asking for such an intense work … the sacrifice looks more like a compromise. And the compromise becomes … compromises.
More and …. more … until one day … when realizing that in
fact absolutely none of those desires ever made us happy. But we continue life … doing the same things … on and on and on.
Our main purpose …. depending of the level of intelligence of
each of us … and the way we care about our lives is related with simple desires, dreams and goals … but …
Once we analyze more … we realize it’s all related with the illusions induces by our minds.
We believe that getting that and that and that … will make us … happy.
Making the stupid mistake of asking the mind, but not the heart … we end up … living for so many days in a row … maybe weeks, months or even years … a life that is offering absolutely … no joy.
Acting in such a stupid way … making the same mistakes on and on and on … could even be defined as a hobby … for us. And not understanding how we should really act on the stage of life …. and the fact that we are not here to accomplish the
infinite list of desires and make lots of sacrifices and compromises for that … but … to understand life and get rid of the illusion of the self … life becomes … a nonsense.
The show continues ….
But maybe for some of us … in time … we realize … a new day becomes a new chance to … act better on the scene of life.

We see around us people having all sorts of … addictions.
For some it means …. alcohol.
For others … drugs.
Or making … money.
Or … conquering women.
Or … chasing for … success.
Or …
But … whatever those experiences are … realizing the concept of pathless path … it’s so damn important. I wrote many times about … illusions.
And it’s so funny … cause when i live illusions on the scene of my own life … even if i know a lot about what the concept means … i still fail.
